Tanker 2-7 is equipped with a 3000 gallon water tank and a 500 gpm Hale AP-50 pump. The unit is powered by a 360 hp Cummins diesel motor, coupled to an Allison automatic transmission. The unit carries all required equipment to be considered a "Mobile Water Supply Apparatus". This apparatus is typically the first due unit on all mutual-aid fire responses. Tanker 2-7 was placed in service on March 16, 2010.
